DESTINATION IMPORT GUIDE / France

France

France applies the European Union animal-health framework and French controls. The importer must confirm the exact species and purpose, the applicable EU certificate, TRACES NT pre-notification and an eligible Border Control Post.

BEFORE ORDERING

Three checks before a quotation.

  1. 01Confirm the harmonised EU pathway and certificate model for the exact taxon and purpose.
  2. 02Have the French importer confirm any national invasive-species, wildlife or establishment controls.
  3. 03Arrange TRACES NT pre-notification and an eligible French Border Control Post before dispatch.

  • Import permit or written admissibility confirmation where required
