Planning a hillstream habitat
Care-planning notes. Confirm exact requirements for the species and source population.
- Make oxygenation and current part of the aquarium design; these are stream-adapted fishes.
- Provide mature grazing surfaces on smooth stones, alongside an appropriate supplementary diet.
- Check the exact locality and species before choosing temperature, companions and current strength.
